  I recently completed an interstate move from Brisbane to Melbourne and after much shopping around I decided to settle on Kent removals as they boasted the quality of care taken etc which would suggest why the price point was higher than most others.

  Outstanding service. Great bunch of guys both for the load and unload. Very helpful, nothing too much trouble. Great attitude as well. Quote visit was also handled very well. I'm sure you could could get slightly cheaper but moving home is hard enough as it is without exposing your belongings to unnecessary risk and your sanity to total breakdown.

  We would highly recommend Kent Removals! The 2 young men who came to do our move yesterday for our elderly aunt made the experience stress free a big thing for a person leaving their home after 40 odd years, they were very professional polite and a joy to work with. From the initial first phone call to the end of the move was a BREEZE so a big thank you to all concerned. A big job well done!!!!

  I enjoyed meeting the people from Kent, most were very friendly, professionalism and efficient. Kent made our move run seamlessly and effortlessly. I love that they're a super old Aussie brand, still run by the same family and a lot of the employees have been around for over 20 years and still lovely to deal with. The only issue I had was connecting with Head Office to get a quote, I was on hold for 15 mins then was sent to online for quoting, the website crashed, but once I had the quote after calling back again, everything was fine. I'd recommend Kent to all my friends and we'll surely be using them again.

  Pickup and delivery were on time however my refrigerator was severely damaged from a massive drop which had left the motor burnt out (impact point along with back wheels and bottom plate)

  Recently I wrote a review expressing my concern about an item Kent broke during a move and their subsequent lack of customer service. I am pleased to say that following the review I was contacted by Kent Branch Manager, Trent. Trent was keen to hear all the details that lead me to write such a review and agreed the lack of Kent's customer service at the time was totally unsatisfactory. Trent went out of his way to reassure me there have been changes to the Melbourne Branch (the fact that I was contacted is evidence of this) and was apologetic regarding our previous experience. I was impressed by Trent's positive and conciliatory approach and was appreciative of his gesture of $150 as a show of good faith to help make up for some of the angst suffered. In my original review I said I was unlikely to use Kent again but if the management can show such signs of improvement I will consider using them again.

  Upon contacting Kent they have taken no responsibility for the damage which has left me without a refrigerator after an already pricey move.
